When someone comes to therapy they want to feel heard. They want to feel safe. They want to know someone cares and can help them. They want to talk to someone who has the experience and skills to be present to their difficulties and who can bring about healing and resolution. Therapy is a unique human relationship based on compassion, empathy, and mutual collaboration. I offer individual, and couples' sessions, and keep a small practice roster for personalized care. I am here to help you improve your quality of life, your interpersonal relationships, and discover positive change. I can help with depression, anxiety, trauma, marital and family issues, grief, and major life transitions. My office is located 1/4 mile from the Pacific Ocean in a quaint beach community, but I am available to all Oregon clients. Office Hours by appointment. Email: deloressullivantherapy@gmail.com

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to providing compassionate and supportive counseling/psychotherapy. I work with individuals both long and short term. Wanting to understand why adverse or difficult things happen to us is natural. When one can contribute a sense of meaning to a difficult situation the power of the problem is often integrated and diminishes. Therapy is a process that can help an individual find the transformational quality in their adverse experiences and become empowered by them, instead of overwhelmed by them. Therapy can help individuals discover healthy coping strategies to manage current and future problems. Coping strategies are the intentional efforts one makes to manage and minimize stress. I utilize an integrative approach including Psychodynamic, CBT, DBT, Jungian Psychology, and EMDR to empower individuals and find coping strategies that make sense. Regardless of the problem, stressor or hardship, everyone can benefit from seeing a therapist. Therapy can help you overcome current stressors and arm you with the skills you need to effectively manage them in the future.
